We are actively seeking to hire highly skilled professionals to meet our growing demand and join our expanding team(s). We currently have an opening for a Test Technician I in our Dyco Electronics facility, located in Hornell, NY. This position is critical to the success of production testing and will support routine electrical testing of components and assemblies, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this position should be detail-oriented, technically curious, able to follow written procedures accurately, and comfortable working with small components and basic test equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts.
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to use microscopes or magnifying tools on miniature parts.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice To Haves
- 0–1 year of experience in electronics, testing, manufacturing, or related fields preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing using meters, oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other basic test equipment.
- Follow work instructions, test procedures, and product specifications accurately.
- Document all test results clearly and thoroughly.
- Identify and report failures or abnormal readings.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with guidance.
- Maintain a clean and organized testing area.
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Follow all safety procedures and reporting requirements.
