Along the way, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and build your skills. This is an onsite role in our Ott facility in Sterling, VA. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Manufacturing and Operations, the Test Technician, Manufacturing & Operations will support the Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing testing on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and data loggers by following defined Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs). This role involves updating ATPs to maintain accuracy, collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, and working cross-functionally to ensure production goals are met.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a test or manufacturing environment working with electronic components or systems.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, Power supplies, data acquisition tools).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of PCBAs and data loggers in accordance with current ATPs.
  • Make recommendations to update and maintain ATPs to ensure testing processes remain accurate and effective.
  • Collaborate directly with Engineering to troubleshoot both process-related and product performance issues.
  • Support production teams cross-functionally to meet delivery schedules and resolve test-related challenges.
  • Document test results and communicate any test failures or anomalies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, and efficiency.
