About The Position

The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment. This is a 1st shift, onsite position.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience reading technical drawings, schematics, and/or manuals
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in electronic systems and equipment
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with various testing equipment and software
  • Experience in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test failures down to the component level.
  • Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize test processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and oversee the operation of test equipment.
  • Generate detailed reports on test results, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure compliance with established safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate work status and progress effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders.
