About The Position

Performs operational tests on complex electronic production components, and subassemblies. Operates from a considerable general knowledge base of various testing procedures and the details of each process. Tech is competent to set up testing procedures according to given diagrams and sketches. Capable to perform basic troubleshooting procedures to include replacing parts or components as directed. Proficient in the use of hand and small power tools as well as various measuring and testing devices. Monitors test results and verifies quality according to statistical results and process controls. Can work under general supervision and also fulfill specific detailed instructions as needed. Able to detect and correct mistakes without significant loss of production time or impact to the customer. Possesses communication skills to effectively obtain and provide data within the department to facilitate completion of tasks and escalate matters that require further support from an external department. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years experience with electronics production and testing practices
  • Able to meet additional qualifications for on site training to include completion and maintenance of J Standard electronics industry certification, in addition to other pertinent on site trainings as needed
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with peers and superiors
  • Ability to complete additional training courses as required per process requirements
  • Ability to obtain secret level government security clearance if deemed necessary
