About The Position

Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Integration Engineer Team Lead. We are a diverse team that works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including but not limited to kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. Our team works across multiple business sectors, with industry partners, and directly with the customer. Requirements

  • An ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering with 4+ years of experience or 2+ years with MS degree.
  • Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
  • Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
  • Eligibility to be able to obtain/maintain secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Five to eight years of experience with test planning and execution.
  • Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
  • Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C# and or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices
  • Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management
  • Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
  • Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
  • Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Coordinating test personnel and equipment across multiple events.
  • Work directly with OEM’s and internal MFG to reliably get product to market.
  • Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
