About The Position
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides technical expertise in the planning, development, execution, and documentation of testing activities in accordance with applicable military standards, customer specifications, and industry best practices. The SME ensures test programs are properly documented, technically sound, and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
- 10+ Years Aerospace Test Experience
- Experience in Mil Standards: RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with delivery team and leadership on Aerospace and Defense Test Process
- Provide technical guidance during qualification, environmental, functional, reliability, and acceptance testing
- Ensure testing complies with applicable military, customer, and program requirements
- Analyze test data and document results, findings, anomalies, and corrective actions
