About The Position

This position requires Associates to prepare the engine for a test run that matches the specific engine type. Each test will run for approximately 15 minutes. While the test run is in progress, the Associate monitors many different diagnostics. Once the test run is completed, they check the engine for oil leaks by using a black light. Associates then enter all testing results into the computer to check for engine failure and perform a final inspection. This position requires that an individual must be computer literate, and willing to learn the different procedures for each engine type.

Requirements

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 31 lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts and torque wrench.
• Computer literacy.
• Willingness to learn the different procedures for each engine type.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the engine for a test run that matches the specific engine type.
• Monitor diagnostics during a test run.
• Check the engine for oil leaks using a black light after the test run.
• Enter all testing results into the computer to check for engine failure.
• Perform a final inspection of the engine.
