About The Position

Teledyne Digital Imaging is a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc., specializing in the manufacture, design, research, and development of high-performance CMOS and CCD image sensors and modular expandable cameras. Their products are used worldwide in various applications including machine vision, document scanning, surveillance, process monitoring, manufacturing inspection, and medical imaging. As part of their growth, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a Test Specialist to support the testing and validation of products and systems. This role involves executing test plans, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Requirements

A technical diploma or certification in a relevant field, or equivalent hands‑on technical training.
Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
Programming experience in Python, LabVIEW, or other languages is recommended.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub systems or products for the purpose of evaluation and test.
Evaluate and test components, sub systems or products, following established means or developing new test strategies.
Assist in the development or commission of test equipment.
Recommend and/or implement refinements to existing procedures, techniques, test methodologies, and/or equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to refine test plans and methodologies.
Calibrate and maintain testing instruments and tools.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes.
Recommend ways to refine or optimize existing designs.
Mentor junior technical support staff.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, a problem-solving mindset, a collaborative approach, and attention to detail.
