About The Position

The Test and Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product performance meets or exceeds design specifications and customer expectations. This is achieved by establishing robust, data-driven testing strategies, highly accelerated life testing (HALT), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). The role requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, production, manufacturing engineering, and customers for testing during new product development, investigating failure modes, developing corrective actions, and implementing reliability improvements across design, manufacturing, and field operations. The goal is to enhance product life cycles and increase overall product life in the field. By driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement, the Test and Reliability Engineer helps deliver high-quality, dependable products that drive customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing robust, data-driven processes with rigorous statistical data analysis, working in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with site certifications such as ISO9001 and ISO14001 a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement reliability testing plans for key products, including Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT), environmental tests, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Create a reliability testing framework that replicates typical field service life cycle using accelerate life testing methods.
  • Analyze failure data from tests and field performance to identify trends and root causes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to develop corrective and preventative actions.
  • Identify opportunities for improving product reliability, quality, and durability through data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain production validation test plans, instructions, and test scripts to ensure product durability and performance.
  • Collect, process, and analyze test room/system performance and reliability data.
  • Develop and present reliability reports to stakeholders, highlighting findings and recommending improvements.
