About The Position

The Boeing Company's Test and Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test Program Integrator (TPI) - Technical Project Manager to be located in Berkeley, MO. This role supports the Phantom Works, Test Beds, & Strategic Capabilities Test Program Management organization, which focuses on modifying, certifying, and operating experimental aircraft as flying laboratories for engineering research data. The TPI is responsible for test design, implementation, and verification of flight test activities across Phantom Works. This position requires extensive coordination with internal and external customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams for test approaches, aircraft modifications, and strategic capabilities. The team is looking for support in coordinating and leading strategic initiatives, major aircraft modification efforts, technology development roadmaps, capital investment projects, and supplier management.

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with requirements elicitation, refinement, and verification
  • Experience with aircraft instrumentation system design implementation and application in flight test environment
  • Experience in mission systems integration and test
  • Active Secret US DoD Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (program partners, customers, management, suppliers, capabilities) to define, plan, and execute mission systems testing on test bed aircraft
  • Manage the test program baseline, to include tracking and reporting on schedule and cost, managing program risks and opportunities, coordinating programmatic hand offs and dependencies, etc.
  • Partner with program engineering teams to determine system test requirements and design appropriate aircraft modification plans to allow for full lifecycle system integration & test activities
  • Manage the execution of capital investment efforts, including the purchase and modification of test aircraft and assets, as well as development of strategic capabilities
  • Pursue new business opportunities, to include maintaining schedule of resources (aircraft and personnel) and providing cost estimates to internal teams & customers
  • Report test program status to BT&E management
  • Operate with a proactive mindset, able to function independently while in a highly collaborative environment
