The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is seeking a Test Phase Lead to spearhead end-to-end testing for a complex, statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. This role involves coordinating testing across integrated finance, procurement, human capital, and reporting functions to ensure comprehensive business process operation before go-live. The Test Phase Lead will plan, coordinate, and execute test scenarios across multiple systems, environments, and organizations, managing dependencies and accounting for varying agency readiness. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving defects, process issues, data concerns, and integration failures. The role operates within established testing governance and standards, collaborating with other leads, technical teams, business representatives, and program leadership to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and escalate concerns. The goal is to ensure testing yields accurate results aligned with the enterprise testing strategy, schedule, and program readiness objectives. The One Washington (OneWA) project, led by OFM, is a long-term, fast-paced initiative to replace outdated technology with a cloud-based Workday solution for finance, procurement, budget, HR, and payroll processes, with full implementation anticipated by 2030. The project's core business hours are Monday through Friday, and all positions are full-time, with some schedule flexibility around core hours subject to supervisory approval. Overtime is common to meet rigorous operational needs and go-live timelines.
