About The Position

Paradigm is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to support our manufacturing client in Vancouver, WA. You'll perform functional testing on electronic assemblies, operate and program flying probe machines, and troubleshoot PCBAs using standard electronic test equipment. Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, maintaining test fixtures, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. As a Test Operator, you will: Operate both functional testing and flying probe on a variety of electronic assemblies with varying complexity, ensuring results are up to customer requirements Utilization of electronics lab equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators Understand assembly schematics and perform basic visual inspections on fail boards Occasional utilization of vibration testing and/or environmental testing equipment Communicate test issues to internal team Record the capture first pass yield and defect data Provide suggestions on rewriting of customer test instructions Update engineering with any red lines of test instructions Be a role model by following and re-enforcing Safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols. Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change, as a minimum, give feed back regarding changes to ensure stability and sustainability Continually look for ways to improve product flow and reduce waste Follow procedures as defined in the SFE quality documentation that pertain to your function. Help update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process Work in a manner that meets or exceeds quality level and timely completion of work in accordance with production schedules Use the MES to track time the status of jobs

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience testing electronic assemblies, or an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • General knowledge of electronic components and their functions, with the ability to interpret electronic schematics
  • Familiarity with standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related tools

  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications

Responsibilities
