About The Position

SA-TECH is seeking a Test Manager to support program efforts and success at the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), a major DoD test facility. The WDTC is the nation’s designated Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) for chemical and biological defense, planning, conducting, evaluating, reporting, and supporting Chemical and Biological (CB) and non-CB testing efforts for various government agencies and private industries. This role involves developing customized test plans, cost estimates, technical approaches, schedules, methods, devices, and equipment to achieve operational objectives. The Test Manager will also coordinate plans, statements of work, and operating budgets, develop work breakdown structures, implement earned value management practices, and serve as the primary customer contact for program activity, managing all aspects of assigned projects.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years of experience in areas of developmental, operational testing or training.
Experience developing test plans, cost estimates, and detailed technical approaches.
Familiar with coordinating plans, statements of work, and operating budgets.
Experience with the development of work breakdown structures and implementing earned value management practices.
A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain this clearance throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

Develop customized test plans, cost estimates, and detailed technical approaches.
Design and develop schedules, methods, devices, and equipment, as required, to provide test data and achieve operation’s objectives.
Coordinate plans, statements of work, and operating budgets.
Develop work breakdown structures and implement earned value management practices.
Act as primary customer contact for program activity.
Manage all aspects of assigned projects.
Other duties as assigned.
