About The Position

For over 80 years, our well-established, mission-driven client has supported the Seattle-area community by providing subsidized rental housing and rental assistance for low-income, elderly, and disabled residents. They're currently in need of a contract Test Lead to develop and own the test strategy, test plan, and test approach for their HR and Payroll implementation. Experience testing HRIS/HCM systems during an implementation is essential, as is experience leading UAT and parallel payroll testing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented, mission-driven professionals who are improving our local Seattle community. Hybrid remote opportunity: onsite 2 days a week (Greater Downtown Seattle area) Contract through December 2027 (w/full benefits)

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software testing
At least 3 years in Test Lead/QA leadership
Experience testing HR & Payroll systems (Dayforce, Lawson, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Experience with UAT, parallel payroll testing, and payroll reconciliation
Experience developing test strategy
Strong defect management and triage experience
Knowledge of HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, compensation, benefits, time tracking, etc.)
Background in integration testing (APIs, middleware, SFTP, etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
