About The Position

This role involves leading automation efforts in Quality Assurance, focusing on both UI and API testing using Playwright. The position requires a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, environment automation, and the ability to develop and maintain automated test suites for complex integrations. Collaboration with development and product teams, functional testing, database validation, and participation in SIT cycles are key aspects of this role. The candidate will also contribute to shift-left testing strategies, maintain test documentation, and support UAT and production validations.

Requirements

• 10+ years in QA Automation + Functional testing
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and environment automation (pipelines, artifacts, caching, secrets management).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Playwright-based automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for complex integrations involving multiple data sources and transformation logic.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Perform functional testing using structured test scripts and exploratory techniques.
• Conduct database validation to ensure data integrity, transformation accuracy, and backend consistency.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) cycles, including batch and real-time scenarios.
• Contribute to shift-left testing strategies, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation, defect logs, and execution reports.
• Support UAT and production validations.
