Test Lab Technician

About The Position
The Test Lab Technician works in the Test Lab department, assisting with dielectric testing of proper protective equipment (PPE) products. The position performs inspections, testing support, washing, packaging, and shipping of PPE, while maintaining company dielectric test equipment in good working order and following safety rules and company policies. The role may also include other related duties as requested to meet organizational needs.
Requirements
- Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
- Able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Detail- and quality-oriented.
- Willing to work overtime when requested.
- Willing to work outside the normal schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Able to follow company safety rules and other company policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of PPE products.
- Assist with dielectric testing of PPE products.
- Wash PPE products.
- Ship PPE products.
- Package PPE products.
- Work safely while performing visual and electrical testing.
- Maintain company dielectric test equipment in good working order.
- Perform other related work as required to complete the job.
