Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Associate or Experienced) (Overnight Shift)
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Electrical/Electronics) (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania on 4th (overnight) shift. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location options. Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 1 or more years of equivalent technical experience
- Must be able to work 4th (overnight) shift
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with electronics test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes and digital volt meters
- Experience with environmental stress screening including vibration and thermal cycle testing
Responsibilities
- Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems
- Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
