Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ year experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
  • Minimum of 3+ year working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ year experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3+ year experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
  • Minimum of 3+ year experience maintaining computer hardware
  • Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination
  • Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing

Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
  • Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies
  • Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities
  • Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and tear-down
  • Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems
  • Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
  • Coaches and trains others
  • Works under general direction
