Test & Evaluation Engineer
About The Position
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the GMD Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs for the Missile Defense Agency. In this role you will be responsible for the integration and test of GMD products and be positioned to support the customer to execute critical testing in different lab environments on the System Integration Test and Readiness (SITR) contract. Requirements
- Understanding of test requirements and test objectives
- Experience integrating multiple complex components into a system-level architecture.
- Experience documenting and trouble-shooting hardware and/or software anomalies.
- Experience developing and/or executing test procedures for critical software and hardware testing
- Able to work in a collaborative environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
- This position requires the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)

- Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program experience
- System of systems integration experience
- Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to review performance, identify root cause, and recommend solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Project or other software schedule experience
- Experience operating in both Windows and Linux based environments.
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT level 2 certification requirements (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or higher-level certification)
Responsibilities
- Provide Integration and Execution Support to Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs
- Participate in integration activities and implementation of the System Under Test (SUT) to support test execution activities
- Work with a team of engineers, system administrators, network engineer console operators, subject matter experts and subcontractors to coordinate all phases of integration, test, checkout and verification
- Develop, review and release Test Plans and Procedures required for test execution
- Utilize basic engineering troubleshooting skills and configuration management best practices
- Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions
- Development, Review, and Release of Post-Test Documentation
- Support relevant meetings, reviews, briefings and working groups
- Work in a rapid-paced team environment
