About The Position

The Test Engineering Technician at Jabil, Inc. supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of test solutions for various electronic products. This role involves assisting engineers in troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing tests to ensure product quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or test environment, preferably in electronics.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with electronic circuits and components.
• Experience operating and calibrating various test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, function generators).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with test automation systems and software (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand) is a plus.
• Knowledge and skills in ICT is a plus.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in dealing PLC, motors, conveyors and automatic lines PM and calibration experience.
• Basic Rework soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, in-circuit, and environmental tests on electronic assemblies and systems according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot test failures down to component level using schematics, block diagrams, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers).
• Assist test engineers in the development and validation of new test fixtures, equipment, and processes.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper functioning.
• Collect and analyze test data, identifying trends and reporting anomalies to engineering.
• Document test results, procedures, and equipment configurations in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in root cause analysis of product and test system failures.
• Provide technical support to production and repair teams regarding test issues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
