About The Position

Atmus Filtration Technologies offers engineering experiences to students across a range of engineering disciplines and STEM-aligned degree programs. Co-op roles are typically project-based and provide broad experience and professional development. This Test Engineering Co-op is based in Stoughton, Wisconsin, with a start in January 2027 or May/June 2027. The role lasts at least eight months; nine to twelve months is highly preferred. The student will support experienced engineering staff in product design, development, and validation; test engineering; and reliability. The work may include new product development, current product support, validation and verification planning for filtration and separation systems, developing laboratory equipment, procedures, and test methods, and product-development risk assessment and failure analysis. The co-op will design, specify, implement, validate, and support laboratory test systems—including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems—to enable reliable engineering evaluation and product development. The student is expected to manage moderately complex technical work independently, contribute to team goals, and continue expanding technical and product knowledge. The position requires a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student who can work 40 hours per week, five days a week.
