About The Position

Apple’s Packaging team designs and executes structural packaging for Apple products, working with teams such as Industrial Design, Marketing, Environmental, and Operations. The team develops packaging that supports a high-quality unboxing experience, protects products during shipping, and advances Apple’s sustainability goals. The Test Engineer determines product and packaging integrity throughout the shipping process. The role develops hardware and software test systems, establishes metrology measurements and failure-analysis metrics, and uses statistical analysis to assess risks and make technical recommendations. The engineer collaborates with internal and external teams and suppliers to align priorities and execute validation plans, while contributing to sustainable packaging design and material innovation.
