About The Position

The Test Engineer will be responsible for generating and maintaining test programs for parametric and functional test. This role involves characterizing tests and maintaining correlation with sister/customer waferfabs. The engineer will assist manufacturing and engineering to ensure the smooth flow of material through the test area. Responsibilities include validating tests and correlating them to functional tests using automated and manual test equipment, validating new test programs, setting up new devices on probers, and supporting device characterization through work requests. Additionally, the role involves setting up and general maintenance of probe cards.

Requirements

  • Curve tracer and oscilloscope experience
  • Programming experience required (Predominately C++, C# and csh script)
  • Linux and Windows environment
  • Data base management and understanding
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Project management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven team worker & self-starter
  • Flexibility (work schedules may vary)
  • Good problem solving & decision making skills
  • Good understanding of semiconductor processes
  • Current B.S./M.S. degree in EE, EET, Physics, Computer Science or Computer engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of parametric test structures preferred
  • Strong Device Physics or Semiconductor Physics knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Test equipment modification and support with R&M
  • Interface with local and remote / customer product engineering
  • Interface with Photo on device layout and setup
  • Test correlation between sites
  • Support to Integration Engineers on characterization tests
  • Program maintenance and control

  • Wafermap support for functional test
