About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our power converter products through the design, development, and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software. Requirements

  • BSEE with 2+ years of analog design experience or test engineering for analog products.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Windows 10 and embedded Operating Systems.
  • Programming experience with high-level object oriented languages C++.
  • ATE and Microcontroller programming

Nice To Haves

  • Visual Basic programming experience is also desirable.
  • Experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL or ODBC) a plus.
  • Experience of power supply testing, analog & digital hardware involving power electronics, drafting tools Altium or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build proprietary ATE hardware and software solutions to facilitate comprehensive testing of power converters.
  • Develop test software modules using Universal Software Test Architecture (USTA), leveraging programming languages such as C and Visual Basic. This includes working with a variety of computer platforms and embedded microcontrollers.
  • Utilize advance statistical tools such as Minitab, JMP, SPC, DOE, and regression analysis to analyze process performance and drive data based quality improvements in manufacturing operations.
  • Lead or support Six Sigma (DMAIC/DMADV) initiatives to reduce process varieties, improve product quality and enhance manufacturing operation efficiency.
  • Evaluate and integrate "off-the-shelf" instrumentation components with communication protocols, such as GPIB, VXI, PXI, and Serial, into the testing infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the Design Engineering team to develop and maintain new test procedures and test circuit schematics that align with product specifications and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to provide ongoing support and optimization of existing ATE systems, contributing to efficient production processes.
  • Thoroughly document all stages of software and hardware development, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the testing process.
