CNO - Test Engineer - Web, System, Agile
About The Position

The Test Engineer will test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. This role involves generating test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality, performing baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Additionally, the engineer will analyze large log data sets and software test data, documenting results clearly and concisely. The position also requires the creation of test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, along with providing analysis of test procedures.
Requirements
- A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
- Five (5) years' experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Strong web application testing experience
- Ability to lead and take ownership/responsibility
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a customer service mentality
- Ability to design, oversee, and perform software testing
- Excellent documentation skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application testing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software System Testing
- Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and explore options
- Experience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, procedures, Test reports
- Ability to work as part of a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Four (4) years of additional TE experience maybe substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
