About The Position

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Test Engineer to support a mission-critical software capability that enables operational success through reliable, high-quality software solutions. This role is embedded within a high-performing Agile engineering team focused on enterprise application quality. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination is required.

Requirements

Software testing or quality engineering across the software development lifecycle for enterprise applications
Development of automated test solutions
Agile methodologies and CI/CD process experience
Functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing methodologies
Defect identification, documentation, prioritization, and tracking
Integration of automated testing into DevSecOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Nice To Haves

Automated testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
Scripting languages including JavaScript or Python
API, UI, database, and performance testing
Enterprise applications and large-scale systems
Cloud-native applications and containerized environments
Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for web-based and enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain both automated and manual test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
Partner closely with software developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
