About The Position

The Tech7 Company is seeking an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a Test Engineer on our Space Force-centric teams, you’ll use your experience to work with developers and engineers to evaluate software developed for national defense. You’ll create test plans with test cases based on user stories and requirements. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. As a member of our team, you’ll demonstrate a proactive approach to work, consistently anticipating needs and taking initiative to address challenges before they arise. You will seek opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to drive our team’s success. Work with us as we develop software solutions to support our service members abroad. This position is on-site located at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Co.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in developmental testing
Strong requirements synthesis, development, and requirements traceability skills.
Core competency with software scripting
Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and traceability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test method and success criteria
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience architecting complex systems in Model-Based Systems Engineering, including CAMEO or Rhapsody
Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.87 and 5000.89
US Citizen
Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence or Jira
Experience with radar system operations or radar modeling
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
Experience interfacing with formal government test organizations, including 17TES or JITC
Knowledge of software deployment and troubleshooting processes in DevSecOps pipelines, including Platform 1 or DAFCw
Ability to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks
TS/SCI clearance
Security+ Certification
Docker or Kubernetes Certification

Responsibilities
