About The Position

The Test Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/ Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). This position will be filled and work onsite at Amentum Downtown Building Colorado Springs, Colorado. Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of engineering software applications characterized by complex functionalities, stringent operational constraints, and sophisticated input/output configurations. Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Provide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs. Assist in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques. Interpret requirements and performing analyses to ensure that objectives are met. Collaborate with Agile and Project team(s) to refine Acceptance and Verification Criteria and optimize software/system Test approaches. Lead Agile and Project team(s) in the development and implementation of testing strategies for software/systems. Attend and participate in Agile and Project meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Integrated Project Teams). This position will be filled and worked onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • Secret clearance
  • 3 years or more of directly related experience
  • 3 years or more of general work experience
  • 3 years of experience in software/systems testing and verification, OR 3 years of experience in the ITW/AA mission domain

Nice To Haves

  • BS degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline desired
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies desired
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments desired
  • 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems desired
