About The Position
Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU), has an exciting career opportunity for a Test Engineer/Principal Test Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and no experience (for Test Engineer Level 2).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD (for Principal Test Engineer Level 3).
- Experience in C++ development
- Strong background using Python
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Eggplant (for Principal Test Engineer Level 3)
- Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket (for Principal Test Engineer Level 3)
- Security+ certification
- GMD/GWS Domain Knowledge
- Java experience/understanding
- Experience using TATS tool
- Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.
- Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
