About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, testing, and optimization of advanced radio frequency systems and components. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of RF radios used in various applications. As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to deliver high-quality RF solutions that meet industry standards and customer requirements. Expertise in RF testing methodologies, tools, and technologies will be essential in identifying and resolving performance issues, conducting detailed analyses, and providing actionable insights to improve system performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role
  • Successful candidate has experience using LabVIEW, TestStand or similar software
  • Proven experience with Radio Frequency (RF) Testing
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RF systems and RF test equipment
  • Proficiency with C# / VB / Python or other programming language
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
  • Familiarity with SVN or other version control systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend schematics well enough to understand basic system operation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with other scripting or programming languages
  • Experience with additional test automation frameworks
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing principals and setting those requirements for new product design feedback
  • Knowledge of common test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies)
  • Experience with data analysis for control charts, process capability studies, test system correlation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and employ process controls in a factory environment for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Document test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps clearly and accurately
  • Develop, configure, and maintain automated test systems using multiple tools such as TestStand / LabVIEW / Windows
  • Develop, document, and maintain test fixtures used in a factory environment
  • Implement version control practices and ensure efficient configuration management using SVN / GIT
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles to structure and maintain codebase
  • Manage TCP / IP networking setups for testing purposes
  • Maintain Windows workstations used for testing, including software updates, troubleshooting, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing strategies, solve complex problems, and ensure product quality
