About The Position

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development. The hardware architecture must be designed to perform correctly, consistently and safely. This all means rigorous software and hardware testing. That’s why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and hardware and work with designers or developers to make sure our team releases the best product possible. As a Test Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and engineers to evaluate software and hardware developed for U.S. Space Force which is used to improve the detection and visibility of satellites, objects, space debris, and track activity. You’ll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software and hardware performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the functionality. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of the radar system. You’ll also broaden your experience in radar technology, space domain awareness, missile defense, and the space surveillance network (SSN). Additionally, you'll support fault detection, fault isolation, and fault recovery efforts during system integration testing from subsystem to the system level. During, and following, all related system integration and test efforts, you'll also support the aggregation and analysis of technical data while providing key inputs to final acceptance test reporting. Work with us as we develop software and hardware solutions to track satellites and keep our space assets safe. Join us. The world can’t wait.
