About The Position

As a Test Engineer on our Space Force team, you’ll use your experience to work with developers and engineers to evaluate software developed for national defense. You’ll create test plans with test cases based on user stories and requirements. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. As a member of our team, you’ll demonstrate a proactive approach to work, consistently anticipating needs and taking initiative to address challenges before they arise. Requirements

  • Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and traceability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test method and success criteria.
  • Experience verifying and validating system requirements and performance in operationally representative environments, including participation in military exercises, field tests, or wargames.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.87 and 5000.89.
  • Ability to lead a small team to successful goal execution.
  • Ability to write high-level programmatic test documentation, including Test Execution Strategy and Test & Evaluation Master Plan.
  • Ability to develop and execute Detailed Test Procedures for Developmental and Operational Test Events.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence or Jira.
  • Experience with radar system operations or radar modeling.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience interfacing with formal government test organizations, including 17TES or JITC.
  • Knowledge of software deployment and troubleshooting processes in DevSecOps pipelines, including Platform 1 or DAFCw.
  • Ability to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Information Technology.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Docker or Kubernetes Certification.
