About The Position

Flex is seeking a Test Engineer in Milpitas, CA to support their teams in building great products. The Test Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment. This role requires experience in electrical manufacturing and industrial settings, with strong capabilities in product debug/FA, particularly in AI computing manufacturing. The ideal candidate will understand AI product structures, operation theory, and functional test methods, possessing strong hands-on abilities in both hardware and test software. Responsibilities include setting up test environments in production areas, configuring various testers like DMMs and Oscilloscopes, interpreting AI product specifications, electrical device block diagrams, and circuitry. A strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and policies is essential. The role also emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, coaching, mentoring, and effective communication with customers, including presenting engineering and manufacturing issues. The ability to solve critical engineering problems is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • BS (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer electrical technologies.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Microsoft Office basic skills, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Writing and reading skills.
  • Great communication skills with customers.
  • Ability to present engineering and manufacturing issues to customers.
  • Ability to solve most critical engineering problems.
  • Strong hand-on abilities, including hardware and test software experience.
  • Strong knowledge in electrical manufacturing processes, and safety regulations and polices.
  • Collaborative attitudes, willingness to coach and mentor team members.
