About The Position

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Computer Scientist to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to the William J Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace (WJHTCAA). This role involves providing 2nd level engineering support for OASIS, participating in software and database installations, system shutdowns, startups, and related test activities. The position supports system development, testing, integration, and deployment activities for OASIS systems, and requires reviewing and commenting on system engineering, requirements, testing, and training documents. The engineer will attend system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and other meetings to support the program and team. A technical understanding of systems, databases, networking, computing environments, and virtualization is necessary. The role includes developing and managing system engineering, requirements, testing, and product baseline artifacts, as well as supporting software applications in Linux environments and participating in system and key site test activities as a tester.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Windows environment.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Effective written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as on a team, in an agile environment.
• Ability to research, troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.
• Ability to learn on the job/willing to self-teach.
• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication with high organization.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance.
• Verification of past employment, education and references is required.
• Must be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
