About The Position

The Opportunity: Assemble and fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Contribute new knowledge to programs or projects. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work. Make recommendations for new procedures. Work independently within established procedures and practices. Lead tasks and informally mentor others.

Requirements

Experience as an electrical 120 Volt single phase power technician
Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic system malfunctions and failures
Experience in soldering and printed circuit card rework
Knowledge of electrical safety, including following established safety practices and requirements
Ability to read schematics
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Ability to use diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope, voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, and frequency generator
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Experience with technical writing
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
Electronics Technician Certification
