This is a project-based employee role supporting the verification, validation, and readiness of our autonomous vehicle platforms. Development phases of this nature typically span through project completion (typically 2–4 years), though scope and duration are driven by business needs. The Test Engineer / Planner IV is responsible for defining and executing portfolio-level validation strategies that verify the readiness, reliability, and safety of ASI's autonomous robotic systems. This role leads the development of large-scale testing frameworks that span individual components, integrated subsystems, and full autonomous vehicle platforms. As a Level IV contributor, this position establishes validation architecture, defines long-term testing strategies, and ensures traceability between system requirements, safety objectives, and test results. The role works closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive certification readiness, identify system risks, and communicate system performance and readiness to engineering leadership.
