About The Position

We are looking for an OS Certification Engineer to execute operating system certification, compatibility testing, and compliance validation across enterprise server platforms and hardware components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of experience in OS certification, Linux platform validation, or system QA testing.
• Good foundational knowledge of server architecture, Linux operating systems, BIOS/UEFI settings, device drivers, and hardware interfaces.
• Solid understanding of configuring and diagnosing network interfaces, network boot processes (PXE), and core protocols.
• Experience writing or modifying automation scripts using Python or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Run official Linux certification test suites (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu certification) on server platforms.
• Assist in validating system images, drivers, kernel patches, and firmware (BIOS/UEFI/BMC) for hardware interoperability.
• Test server-level networking stacks, interface cards, and protocol compatibility (TCP/IP, DHCP, PXE boot).
• Review system and kernel logs to identify certification failures, and coordinate findings with hardware and BIOS engineering teams.
• Use and maintain automated test scripts to streamline OS deployment and certification testing pipelines.
