Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline or 8 years of IT experience
Experience working with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts.
6 years of testing experience
Comprehensive technical expertise in IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems and networks and specialized environments.
Experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures.
Active Secret clearance is required

Responsibilities

Lead the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute release tests.
Apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teams' overall test objectives.
Coach and advice testers.
Tracks problems and reports on errors that are identified.
Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Manage the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
