About The Position

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Lead for its TeraWave business unit to support high-rate production of satellite vehicles. The position owns the production electrical test strategy, execution, and continuous improvement for a production line delivering multiple spacecraft per year. The role leads test technicians and test engineers, drives throughput while maintaining quality, and serves as the primary interface between test and design, manufacturing, and mission assurance. The position is part of Blue Origin Operations, which supports manufacturing and supply chain across Blue Origin facilities. TeraWave is a satellite communications network comprising 5,408 optically interconnected satellites in low Earth and medium Earth orbit, designed to provide enterprise-grade connectivity and symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. The role includes leading production electrical test operations, maintaining test procedures and equipment, improving test flow, managing a team, coordinating anomaly disposition, reporting production metrics, and implementing automation. It also owns the electrical Ground Support Equipment suite and represents the test organization in design reviews. The base pay range for Washington applicants is $145,188.00–$203,263.20; ranges at other sites may differ. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as refugees or granted asylum. A standard background check is required for all positions. Additional background checks or credentials may apply to certain job profiles.
