About The Position

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team. This role supports the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), utilizing strong electrical engineering skills to work with project partners and define the future for FBM. The position is located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, CO, and requires a flexible 9x80 schedule, working full-time in the office. Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience.
  • Must have an active a DoD Secret or higher clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Hardware development experience
  • Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE
  • Experience in one or more of the following: LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#
  • Must have an active a DoD Secret or higher clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading projects teams and development efforts
  • Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
  • Issue Tracking experience
  • Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
  • Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech products.
  • Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations
  • Experience troubleshooting
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
  • Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with customers, as well as senior leadership.
  • Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
  • Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
  • Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
  • Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
  • Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
  • Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
  • Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.
