About The Position

We are seeking a Test Engineer III with expertise in CAD, Python, and C++ to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This onsite role involves managing a 3D Depth Sensing Characterization Laboratory, executing test plans using robotic automation for AR/VR components, and collaborating within a cross-functional team. The salary range for this position is $120K - $130K per annum.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Python and C++.
• Practical experience in designing parts for 3D printing and machining using Solidworks.
• Direct experience in device control, tooling development, experiment execution, and statistical data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Programming – Python, C++
• CAD
• Lab Work, developing tooling, running experiment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Computer Vision tools.
• Familiarity with Camera systems.
• Knowledge of Lidar mapping systems.
• Experience with computer Vision, cameras, sensors.
• Some experience in physics, engineering AR VR projects.
• Lab experience is more important than larger tech company experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of a 3D Depth Sensing Characterization Laboratory.
• Execute comprehensive test plans utilizing robotic test automation for AR/VR components (including projectors, cameras, sensors, and optics).
• Engage in effective collaboration and communication within a cross-functional team environment.
