Test Engineer II (Mon-Fri 2nd shift)
About The Position
As a Test Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial part in facilitating acceptance testing, providing clear direction to test technicians, and supporting troubleshooting efforts. Apart from close collaboration with the test team, the individual will work alongside cross-functional disciplines to address complex issues, ensuring seamless test execution. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location. In this role, you will impact the overall success of our engineering teams by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and safety in aviation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum of 1 or more years experience in test engineering or related field.
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with environmental (rate tables, shakers, thermal chambers, etc.) and general-purpose test equipment
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Excel
- Experience working in test lab environment with technicians
- Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions
- Experience in technical writing and presentation

- Acceptance testing (functional and environments)
- First responder during test failures
- Failure investigation and troubleshooting
- Clear guidance and direction to test technicians
- Setup test benches and equipment
