About The Position

The Test Engineer II is an experienced professional responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software, hardware, or other products. They work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the product. Requirements

  • Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Conducts functional, regression, performance, and security testing on software applications.
  • Identifies and reports defects or issues found during testing and track them to resolution.
  • Collaborates with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
  • Participates in test plan reviews and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Develops and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools.
  • Conducts compatibility testing on different platforms, browsers, and devices.
  • Performs root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Mentors junior test engineers and provide guidance on testing best practices.
  • Stays updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
