Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Analog/RF circuit design course work
- Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or other object-oriented language
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-Starter with good communication skills
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Measure products using test equipment like DC source/measure unit’s, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generators
- Validate commercial or internal products using manual test stations, creating power budgets per equipment specs and device needs.
- Process, verify and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports
- Creation of test software, to control test equipment, execute test plans, and store data sets.
- Support RF fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design, test socket design and interface cabling design
- Document test system and software processes
- Test Multichip Package (MCP) devices for RF and DC parameters including, gain, compression, current, and phase parameters.
