About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer/Analyst to join a team providing test analysis, reporting, and data-driven assessment of the Missile Defense System (MDS). This position supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Analysis and Reporting activity. Requirements

U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another technical discipline.
0+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analysis, data analytics, testing, or a related technical field.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
Foundational knowledge of SQL and Python.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-tasking environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience creating Tableau workbooks and data visualizations.
Familiarity with test and evaluation activities within a defense or aerospace environment.
Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
Experience presenting technical information to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Analyze flight, ground, and simulation-based test data to assess Missile Defense System performance.
Support the entire test lifecycle, including pre-mission predictive analysis, real-time test support, and post-mission data evaluation.
Utilize existing and commercial off-the-shelf tools to process, analyze, and visualize complex data sets.
Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate test results and system performance.
Prepare and present test planning documentation, readiness briefings, and performance reports to customers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government personnel in a fast-paced team environment.
Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement through data analysis and reporting.
Support customer objectives through effective technical communication and analytical problem-solving.
