About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Test Drive Specialist to join our sales team. This role combines product expertise, customer engagement, and vehicle sales. The successful candidate will guide customers through the vehicle purchasing journey by conducting professional test drives, educating customers on vehicle features and benefits, and assisting them in selecting the right vehicle to meet their needs.

  • Previous automotive sales, retail sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle test drives with prospective customers in a safe, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, performance, safety systems, and ownership benefits.
  • Build rapport with customers and identify their transportation needs and preferences.
  • Provide accurate product knowledge on new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Follow up with customers after test drives to answer questions and assist with purchasing decisions.
  • Generate sales opportunities and convert showroom traffic into vehicle sales.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding current vehicle models, specifications, promotions, and competitor products.
  • Ensure all test drives comply with dealership policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and sales activities within the dealership CRM system.
