About The Position

Application Engineering and Shared Platform Services provides modern software driven banking experiences for CIBC's personal and small business banking clients by putting our clients at the center of all that we do. As a Test Coordinator you will join CIBC’s AESP team to contribute in development, execution and implementation of all quality assurance practices and methodologies working with business and technology resources. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in leading small to medium size projects within Agile and Waterfall environment.
  • Good understanding of WSDLs, XML, XSLTs, and XPATHs.
  • Experience on QA Approaches, Tools, Techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Experience with Unix commands, Test Cycles, Test Cases and Defect Management.
  • Working experience on Test Automation of Web Services using SOAP Sonar, SOATest (Preferred) or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DB Visualizer(Preferred) and database practices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, Develop and Execute tests and ensure results achieve documented goals and objectives.
  • Work with other test leads, business, business analysts and development teams to establish test plans, standards, and procedures that add value to software project and satisfy the constraints of the project by reviewing project documentation.
  • Monitor project adherence to quality standards and provide status reporting as needed.
  • Adhere to CIBC’s processes through all phases of the software development life cycle.
