This role is for an engineer who loves running tests by the book, turning data into crisp, decision-ready reports, is comfortable traveling to labs, plants, and customer sites, works confidently with hands using power and measuring tools, sets up rigs, executes experiments per procedures/protocols, captures data, and summarizes findings. They naturally handle inspections and troubleshooting—diagnose, repair, verify, re-test until it’s solved. They bring hands-on experience and strong technical/mechanical aptitude, read and interpret drawings/schematics, specs, standards, codes, and test reports with ease, and shine through clear communication, tight collaboration, and organized follow-through that keeps projects moving and stakeholders aligned. The Test & Certificate Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of products through comprehensive testing, certification, and verification processes.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, codes, standards, regulations, and test data.

Basic understanding of drafting and familiarity with ANSI and ASME standards.
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Nice To Haves

Experience in product testing/certification preferred.
Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferred.
Experience in international projects and cross-cultural communication preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain product certification/approval documentation.
Monitor applicable standards for modifications, addendums and updates that may impact certifications/approvals for Roxtec products.
Serve as liaison to testing facilities and certifying organizations.
Schedule and witness tests of Roxtec products by appropriate testing facilities.
Develop and implement procedures for testing and certifying Roxtec products.
Participate in analyzing product deficiencies and production problems and initiating corrective Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
Execute Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Develop and deliver new employee onboarding training.
Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
Take part in product development initiatives.
Participate in industry standards and technical committees.
