Requirements

• Candidate is responsible for following commission rules, policies and procedures regarding sample collection and chain of custody.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commission rules, policies and procedures regarding sample collection is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with large animals, preferably horses, is desired.

Responsibilities

• Procure a urine sample of each horse entering the test barn for testing, in accordance with commission standard operating procedures.
• Identify each horse entering the test barn by verifying the correct microchip, freeze brand, or tattoo.
• Verify whip welts, cuts, etc. on horses as assigned.
• Maintain the test barn in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Other duties as assigned.
