Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for web, API and retail applications. Work within existing automation frameworks to enhance test coverage and stability. Update, debug, and troubleshoot test scripts to ensure consistent execution in different environments. Execute automation suites as part of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Support validation of end-to-end retail workflows, including POS and digital/eCommerce platforms. Leverage or experiment with Gen AI tools to improve script creation, debugging, and productivity. Participate in sprint activities, including planning, estimation, and test reporting within Agile teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in test automation / SDET roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in automation scripting using Playwright (preferred) or Selenium or equivalent tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Good understanding of automation execution, script debugging, and maintenance.
  • Exposure to Gen AI applications in QA/testing workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Retail domain, including: POS (Point of Sale) systems OR Digital commerce platforms
  • Experience using Git-based version control systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manhattan Associates (OMS/WMS) or other retail ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
